Care

Osteopathy & Acupuncture

My approach combines osteopathy and, when indicated, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

These different techniques can be used separately or in a complementary manner, depending on the needs of each patient.

Osteopathy

Traumatic osteopathy can be managed without resorting to acupuncture.

My experience as an osteopath allows me to use different manual techniques and adapt them to each patient:

Gentle techniques – Myotensive – Structural

The choice of techniques depends in particular on the reason for consultation, the age of the patient and their preferences.

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine

Acupuncture is an integral part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It can be used alone or in conjunction with osteopathy.

However, the use of needles is not systematic. Traditional Chinese Medicine includes various methods that allow treatment to be adapted to each patient.

If you have any apprehension about needles, please feel free to talk to me about it: treatment can be considered without necessarily using them.

A complementary approach

When an acupuncture session is being considered, an osteopathy session may sometimes be suggested beforehand, particularly when mobility restrictions are identified.

Traditional Chinese Medicine is not a substitute for conventional medicine or medical follow-up when necessary. It is part of a complementary approach.
